Bridge collapse in Guinea kills 65 - army official

CONAKRY, March 20 (Reuters) - Sixty-five people were killed when a bridge collapsed under the weight of a truck near the town of Gueckedou in south-eastern Guinea, a senior army official in the West African country said on Tuesday.

The accident took place on Monday as the truck, packed with passengers and merchandise, was heading for a local market, the official in the capital, Conakry told Reuters.
