To Kill an American

I found this in my e-mail today... It's Written by an Australian Dentist.........
************************
"To Kill an American"

You probably missed it in the rush of news last week, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American, any American.

So an Australian dentist wrote an editorial the following day to let everyone know what an American is . So they would know when they found one. (Good one, mate!!!!)

"An American is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani or Afghan.

An American may also be a Comanche, Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as native Americans.

An American is Christian, or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim.
In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan. The only difference is that in America they are free to worship as each of them chooses.

An American is also free to believe in no religion. For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.

An American lives in the most prosperous land in the history of the world.
The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence, which recognizes the God given right of each person to the pursuit of happiness.

An American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need, never asking a thing in return.

When Afghanistan was over-run by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country!

As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan. Americans welcome the best of everything...the best products, the best books, the best music, the best food, the best services. But they also welcome the least.

The national symbol of America, The Statue of Liberty , welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact are the people who built America.

Some of them were working in the Twin Towers the morning of September 11, 2001 earning a better life for their families. It's been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least 30 different countries, cultures, and first languages, including those that aided and abetted the terrorists.

So you can try to kill an American if you must. Hitler did. So did General Tojo, and Stalin, and Mao Tse-Tung, and other blood-thirsty tyrants in the world. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself. Because Americans are not a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, is an American.

Take care...

so true  and a moment of madness by muslim terrorists has nearly destroyed all that, hopefully not beyond repair, the western nations have paid a heavy price to regain and retain our different freedoms and democracys, one thing Islam should have learn by now is that they will never know the freedom and democracy that we in the west enjoy and sometimes take for granted, that is something we will never give up no matter what price is to be paid :!: :!: :!:

100% agreed. Even the Iraqie's who voted for democracy and freedom' are paying the price, and it's death for them now, by the hands of those who did say they were all brothers of Islam. Such a peaceful religion!

I know its really Vague and can go either way but that stuff about Afghanistan was sort of wrong. If Russia had won because you didnt help fund "terrorists", Afghanistan could have turned out like alot of the other Soviet states And the people in Afghanistan may have had alot better life then they did under the Taliban. Which then could of led to 911 not happening.
Like every other war the US are involved in you got rid of Russia (your goal) and then left the Afghans to rot and suffer under war then the taliban for next 15-20 years.

P.S.:What about your personal life? Maybe all people around you are dirty idiots, too?

I know it was soviets but it still MIGHT of got them on the right track and not the way they went with the Taliban.

From my head. Ok denichmsk its your country. How many ex soviet countries are now democracies??? Ide guess about 80-90% And how many are dictators controlled or atleast armed by Russia??? The other 10% i guess
And how many are now muslim extremist countries like Afghanistan was???? 0% except sort of chechnya but since thats "part of russia" as you keep saying and not a separate country it doesnt count

Looks like they would have been better off with USSR then America.

How about conflict in Tajikistan? How about conflict between Armenia and Azerbaidjan?
Looks like they would have been better off with USSR then America.
???

Ok even better your helping me with my point. So there is only one country with a dictator the rest are democracies???????
Im not 100% sure but Russia would arm turkmenistan wouldnt it?????
And yes that point means nothing its just to hassle Russia. Like them suppling weapons to Iran still. Thats just pathetic.

Tajikstan is nothing like Afganistan was. The Americans even used it as a base for inavding Afghanistan.
Armenia is also nothing like Afghanistan although i admit it might be in a few years.

And i said it looks like they would of been better of with USSR then the US because as you pointed out most ex USSR countries are now happy free democracies. Whereas half the places the US have been are still shitholes.

No.

This is our own deal. And nobody didn't ask you. I keep the silence about your australian textbooks where written about "genocide" in the Israel/Chechnya/Iraq. It is so pathetic, isnt it?.
chrisdef wrote:Armenia is also nothing like Afghanistan although i admit it might be in a few years.
Go and read what was happend on 90s.
Go and read how many peoples died (and how they are died). Iran and Turkey already support Azerbaidjan. USA and Russia completely support the Armenia. Thanx god, those conflict is freezed.
chrisdef wrote:The Americans even used it as a base for inavding Afghanistan.
I am talking about 90s. Not about 2000s.

How is it ok to supply Iran with weapons??????? They are terrorists or whatever you want to call them remember. Plus the fact you guys always whinge Iran arms hezbollah. So what haoppens when hez shoots down an Isreali plane???? Is that still ok. Doesnt really bother me a huge amount but in your twisted minds it should.
And there not Australian textbooks there called history books. Go look on brittanica or something like that. Hardly an Australian view. Its just facts.
And they dont say genocide and neither have i. I think massacre might be a better word.

That was a war between countries not anything like a muslim extremist government.

Like you keep saying its 2006 and they are doing fine now. Alot of the countries took a few years to get sorted out. Thats what happens since your govt just dumped them one day and they had to look after themselves.
