Teacher sacked over religion row

Mr McLuskey said the school was too quick to sack him
A supply teacher has been sacked from a secondary school following complaints from Muslim pupils.
Andrew McLuskey was sacked from Bayliss Court Secondary School in Slough after a Religious Education lesson discussing the pros and cons of religion.

Pupils at the predominantly Muslim school claimed Mr McLuskey said most suicide bombers were Muslim.

But he rejected the allegation and said the school was too quick to sack him without giving him right of reply.

"Very unjust"

He expected to complete an eight week contract at the school - but was sacked after only several days.
Deputy head teacher Ray Hinds says the pupils were very upset

"I feel it's very unjust," he said.

"I think I should've been given the chance to respond to the allegations and not in effect be ejected from a job without the chance to defend myself."

The school authorities denied they were being heavy-handed and said their first priority was pupils' welfare.

"I don't think it's important what I think," said the school's deputy head teacher Ray Hinds.

"It's what the pupils think that were in the classroom at the time. And they were very upset."

Yes indeed it was justidied to sack him. Another m15 agent trying to brainwash future fighters. They are really getting desperate now targetting children. And the quality of his teaching is also not ot great it's martyrdom operations not suicide bombers.

Some would argue that the muslim religion has become nothing but a focal point to concentrate the masses on the jews and chrisitians rather then look inward at its failures as the root cause.

So were is their proof. The only people who have this statements are those who are scared for the continous growth of this belief, and when they failed with words they started attacking the muslim countries. So sad and weak

No one should be running anyone's country! Next time we invade a country, regardless if it's for a good reason or not, or a legal reason or not, or on a wild-goose chase or not, we need to be sure we get in, do the task at hand, then get out. Quickly and precisely. Be sure to have someone FROM THAT COUNTRY able to take over ... not remove the leader and leave the country (country = civilians) in worse shape than they were before. GET IN AND GET OUT, otherwise, take over completely! We can't continue to leave civilians in chaos.
