Well... to me it looks like a giant floating lightbulb, surrounded by four over-sized golf-balls...

But seriously, I'm pretty sure America does not have to worry about coming under missile attack from another nation-state for the next 50-100 years, so I think all these missile defense and radar systems are basically useless, and a huge waste of taxpayers money... but that's just my opinion.
