"The military announced this week they're planning to use trained sea lions and seals to guard our ships in the Persian Gulf.
That's when you know we don't have any allies, when you have to turn to other species.... They're going to use sea lions to guard the ships and dolphins to locate the mines.
In fact, you know the only animal that won't help us, the French poodle."

Awwww but no French Poodles....
There is big beautiful dolphins that swim here. About four years ago there was a 400 pound male loner dolphin that came here to the islands. Lot's of divers and people would swim with him, he was very playful. He picked up the name Spot. He stayed here for about 2 years, then one day a pod of other dolphins came in, and he left with his new family. HE was fun for the kids and even the Adults here. We all miss him.

I saw a simliar one and they used dolphins to mark Anti-Ship mines and seals were used to attach a restraint collar to divers.
