No. The Qur'an was written in Arabic without vowels (kind of like Hebrew, there is an entire class of languages which can be written without vowels. NGLSH CN B WRTTN THT WY BT LSS CLRLY). The different methods (called Qira'a) place vowels and puncutation in different places. The words have the same meaning (as they are in the same language) but are pronounced differently. The sentences are stressed and paused and stopped in different ways. There are also differences in the pitch, rhythm, speed and intonation. This affects how the Qur'an is read. "Read" meaning "read aloud," not in your head and not on paper. There is some effect on those types too, but it's very negligible. Mainly where a sentence ends, and some verb modifiers. These are not different languages, but variations within Arabic.okay there are seven different Quorans, there are several different ways of reading them, in several different languages,and as the language that the original Quoran was supposed to have been written in no longer exists then even in the translation to the modern languages then surely there must also have been words that were changed, and the 2 ..s do make a diference as no 2 words mean the same in any language. So to claim that the quorans of today are an exact copy of the quoran written back then is not quite the truth is it??
