Actually, it is said in the quran you must believe in all scriptures. The Bible is a book of God. You see, you were allowed to drink wine back then. If you notice, the Pope deosnt follow the Bible at all. You are making the mistake of thinking these people are actually following the Bible and then you associate what they say with the Bible.
